My weekend project involved installing this pulley system so I could hoist my THULE pod up and out of the way. I also wanted to mount it in a spot where I could back in and lower it down onto my roof racks so I don’t always need another person. It lined up almost perfectly!

Conventions that have full waitlists AND don't allow you to get a refund for your table (if you give them ample notice, like 30 days) are greedy. They only get away with this kind of thing because we put up with it.

It's been so bad shipping with USPS lately. I just got an email from a customer about a preorder I shipped on the 2nd. Yesterday I checked the tracking, and it said it was out for delivery. Today, I got a notification from ShipStation, checked, and now it's saying it hasn't even left Columbus!?

Now more than ever I’m convinced losing Anthony Bourdain meant we lost probably the biggest person on tv who advocated for the wonders of meeting new people and calling anyone online who hated learning new cultures the children they were, ruthlessly to the camera.

Things that have happened today, before setting up for SCG Richmond: - My mini fridge was broken (I’m diabetic and bring snacks that need to be refrigerated) - I realized I didn’t pack a new vial of insulin, so I had to call my Dr so they could call in a script for me.
