About 9 years ago I was shopping at a hobby store before heading to a workshop when it started raining like crazy. At the same time @volpinprops.com posted a job application. I was in a different state but I said screw it and worked on a custom portfolio instead of driving through the storm.

That's right there's *gasp* lore! Another person I couldn't have done this without is @milkykau.bsky.social who provided art of the characters in their backstories. She helped really finalize their colors and voices. These postcards will also be available along with the kits.

My cryptid figure project, Mountain Mama Monsters is finished in time for #Wonderfest at Momocon! I never thought I'd be able to attend a WonFest, let alone vend at one. These are my first original characters too so it would mean a lot if you could help me spread the word.

On pure coincidence input a Yuji Ohno track from the ps2 Lupin game in this one. It's a really fun conversation about the conversation that art has with us over time.

Some old pics of the Shantae Garage Kit I painted and made a custom base for. Chrome gold on the metal, satin pearl on the pants, candy red on the shoes, I love getting to use multiple types of finishes.

Pests from Strixhaven made for Wizards of the Coast. I was lead on this project, working on everything from casting to cleanup and many, many hours of painting. Each terrarium has rubber glass for realistic water suspension.

These are not renders! I fabricated the trophies for this year's Shoebox as a way to make the events all the more enviable and unique. Once we settled on the design I really got to put my spin on it and I'm so happy with the results.

A worked on another Magic trophy! This one is a silver variant for the pro tour. It's smaller and the pod is a bit more closed than the World Championship Trophy, it's a nice little detail. Definitely one of my favorite trophy designs in a while.

Crazy that I've been doing this show with @jmanvelez.bsky.social for a year now! I'm lucky to have been approached to do a project like this by such and amazing co-host. Looking forward to the next year of episodes as we try to make it to 50.
