#worldturtleday I snuck some snack-sized Ashleychelys into this life restoration of the early dolphin Xenorophus a couple years back. This ~30 myo sea turtle is mostly known from juveniles. Something kept messing up Xenorophus jaws and teeth - jawbreaker turtles a little too tough to eat, perhaps?
