a couple weeks ago, i decided to start berserk (the manga) and wow, despite going in fairly well-prepared, this has been a tough read. it’s messy and chaotic and frightening and beautiful and bittersweet. while a lot of it is alien (and horrific), there’s something so tenderly human to it as well.

Final Fantasy Tactics is ultimately a cautionary tale about Virgos.
