Three favourites (also three of the very very few things I actually finished this year) The cushion cover found a new home at Wee Con, Merstede is an excellent study companion and the shawl travelled all the way across the pond.

I started crocheting around Feb 2023. I still can't really read patterns and crafting is generally a lot of 'fuck around find out' for me. I made tiny yarn Ed in May and sock Ed earlier this month. I love my little soft guys. #ofmd #OurFlagMeansDeath

Before ofmd, I thought I had zero artistic or crafty talent. This fandom gave me the courage to try new things, to risk being bad at them, and to enjoy discovering what I was capable of. I’m so proud of my first cross stitch because I’m proud of myself for trying something new 🥹

Running in a bit late, but my muppet mer-Stede's screen-accurate tail. I worked so hard on it to get it right, up to and including getting new tools and learning new techniques.

I really did enjoy making the Rosy Maple Moth with such pretty tiny details. Filling little cups with gold and pearls. Used mirror for the 1st time. Loved learning how to incorporate leather into stained glass for Indestructible. Using the perfect glass for the hoof. #OFMD #IzzyHands #OFMDfanart

I did one (1) crafty thing this year but I really enjoyed doing it! (lovely and beginner-friendly pattern by @tenderashell.bsky.social 💖) Might even try to trade a little more scrolling time for stitching time in 2026...
