13.147 clearly states a trans person can be barred from spaces for both 'biological sex' & who they actually are if they may cause "discomfort or distress" to others by being trans. We can be barred from spaces because cis people think we're icky. "dignity & respect"

EHRC Code: 1. The point of the Equality Act was to prevent discrimination. So if you were discriminated against, you had (in most cases) a route to make a complaint, the law to back you up and a route to make inequality expensive enough that most companies complied (to some extent).

I don’t think anything sums up how ridiculous the new EHRC guidance is than the fact it describes those protected by the characteristic of gender reassignment to be those undergoing a process to “reassign their sex”, a thing the exact same part of the document says isn’t legally possible. Nonsense.

Something else I don't understand - If you have single sex facilities but should provide separate facilities for trans people, why should those not also be single sex? Why is it ok to make trans ppl have mixed sex facilities?
