Cats share a fascinating bond with humanity because when you see a cat walking around outside you and the cat share an equally intense but opposite reaction where the cat is like “ah shit I don’t want to talk to this guy” and you get to be like “cat my old friend! Come here buddy!”

Happy Pride Month. If you're a gay man, please remember your power. People often think that gay men are innately fashionable, which means if you wear some stupid shit for long enough, straight people, including homophobes, will copy you and then you can laugh at them.

This is fifty years of reactionary right wing politics, right here: none of those people give a damn what’s real and they never did. They *enjoy being angry*, aren’t picky about why and they used to pay for retail outrage off news stands. Now, they can get it free from Indian wingnuts.

This is a Jewish-Palestinian group of activists putting their physical safety on the line today to protect Palestinian families from far-right ultranationalist Jews. Truly one of the most inspiring groups out there at this moment.

Was it perhaps a mistake to privatise and cut as much as possible, as a means of ensuring future governments would be helpless and incapable of improving anything or helping anyone? Well, I suggest your answer to that will depend upon how big and fancy your house is.

I feel like small matters such as “selling off most of the things that help governments to make themselves useful, out of pure hardcore ideological conviction” and “a pathological loathing for investment in services and infrastructure” may also have contributed

Important to understand that when all of these lads wail loudly about how much The Left Hates Britain, they don’t mean we hate Bargain Hunt or Greggs or Jarvis Cocker or Dundee United. They mean that we dislike and are opposed to *them*: they do not draw distinctions between themselves and “Britain”

I mean, *even I* would much prefer it if they had at least been basically competent, because I have to live in this country and raise a child here. Being able to say “We told you this would happen” is no comfort at all, it makes it much worse that it was all so avoidable and unnecessary.

It's hard to be polite about this drivel. Herzog carries water for Netanyahu, constantly. He has embraced settlements in the West Bank. He has no real independent support among the Israeli public. Most opposition voters see him as an embarrassment or worse. There is NO value in meeting him.
