A Nightmare on Elm Street 2 is honestly a bit of an overlooked entry in the franchise, though it's also easy to see why it's not a lot of people's favorite. Tone-wise, it's probably the closest to the original - it's scares and kills, however, aren't anywhere near as imaginative.

The original A Nightmare on Elm Street still holds up, unsurprisingly. A great mix of fun kills treated seriously, and Freddy himself is imposing while also still having that 'man I love doing this' vibe that sets him apart from, say, Jason. Great flick every time I watch it.

Apparently the last like 20-ish chapters of One Punch Man just got redone and reposted on the SJ app, redoing one of the last arcs that we had, or...something...and I am confused as hell as to what the hell is going on with this manga nowadays.

For some reason, I'm feeling particularly...Halloween-ey, this year. So I think I'm gonna get an early start on some horror-y goodness and start watching the Nightmare on Elm Street movies again. It has been a good few years since the last time I watched them.

Beat the final boss of the Star-Crossed World portion of Kirby and the Forgotten Land now too, and holy SHIT that last boss was a chore. Fun, but he just wouldn't DIE. Now that just leaves the original post-game material, getting all of the gacha figures, etc.

I love how fucking anime ass the final fight of Kirby and the Forgotten Land turns out. YOU THROW A SEMI TRUCK AT GOD. Frankly that's the secret to a good Kirby final boss. Take one part horrors-beyond-our-comprehension, mix in some over-the-top anime BS, and voila, perfection.

Almost at the endgame of Kirby and the Forgotten Land again, though that still leaves the post-game. The new stages via Star-Crossed World have been really fun so far too, making an already stacked game even better.
