I always think of Star Trek Generations as a holiday movie. It has a christmas scene in it but I think the themes it reaches for actually feel in line with the holidays.

I have enjoyed virtually every version of a Christmas Carol from "Barbie in a Christmas Carol" to both Alistair Sims' Christmas Carols. But for the life of me, I don't think I "get" Guy Pearce's A Christmas Carol. I've literally fallen asleep on it every time...

I must say, as an unrepentant atheist, "Wake Up Dead Man" is among the best Catholic movies I've ever seen. It works great as a fun mystery but it's an extremely pointed conversation about faith, guilt, and mercy and the evil people who would exploit the faith, guilt, and mercy of others.

I've been working on a game pitch and story dear to me, "ENGINE ANGEL", with the team at Ivy Road! We're still seeking funding, but in the meantime I wanted everyone to still be able to share the work they've done. I'll be sharing more as well as reposting any of the team's posts so stay tuned!
