I’ve had steady employment since I was 15 years old, I’ve worked like 15 different jobs; sales, retail, manual labor, hospitality, automotive, graphic design, animation… The ONLY job I’ve ever had where paying people 30 days AFTER the job was done (& late even then) is normal? Comics 🙃

i'm reminded of this whenever i see people upset about nobody properly tagging. when we do properly tag, you get upset anyway because you saw the tag. but if we don't tag, you apparently don't even recognize it as upsetting. this is why you can't police consent in art.

.....my lip ring closed up while I was in the hospital :[ i had to take it out for the endoscopy and then got so fucking sick I never put it back in and just forgot until now. It was only out for two days and it completely sealed up. I was able to get my nose ring in at least. Im just....sad

I feel absolutely horrible but bo is very happy im home and loves me

Hospital doctor the other night: "You're 33, you shouldn't be having heart damage and three colonoscopies" Im extremely fucking aware

I know I sound extremely dramatic and whiney but I quite literally feel like im dying. I'll probably be fine, I always am. But pain came back 10x worse and just sitting on the sofa feels horrible but so does laying down.

And of course my stomach still fucking hurts

On a lighter note Bo is throwing a tantrum atm cuz he does not like that I have the walker next to the sofa and he has to walk by it to get on said sofa. He is voicing his complaints very loudly and specifically at mom

Im not even really joking at this point. Im gonna genuinely look into if im cursed or something. This is just fucking insane. Christ almighty guys I just want to draw comics, why am I being nerfed like this.

Today I also learned that not only is being revived from respiratory arrest traumatic mentally but the roof of my mouth is beat up and my jaw is in very rough shape aha wow this just keeps giving huh [The doctor explained the jaw pain and that things actually did in fact go very very wrong]

Also mom was hanging out with me in the hospital room and was like "google says it's really rare to get pneumonia from an endoscopy but they didn't count you" And I MEAN

Being loaded up on antibiotics and getting to go home. Gotta use a walker. I also need home help physical therapy but ofc insurance said no so I gotta to a center for it....when I already couldn't afford transportation costs for physical therapy my neurologist ordered so idk man.

Plot twist: ct scan revealed possible pneumonia and im being given Iv antibiotics. Idk man. Like. What really can I even say at this point? They also found a large thyroid nodule too cuz i guess that needed to be there too

Not only did I stop breathing during the endoscopy, they couldn't do the full extent colonoscopy because my colon is abnormal apparently Anyway Im otherwise fine & waiting on biopsies and gotta do even further tests i guess And im kinda in extremely rough shape today so I need to rest sorry
