Doctor said I had a sinus infection, and I can't take decongestants. He recommended neti rinsing my sinuses "as much as you can stand", and if it gets worse/doesn't improve by Monday-Tuesday, THEN start antibiotics. Half a day in and my face hurts and my nose is dripping and I'm nauseous 🥲

I have an entire draft of a story, written around 2017, that has NOT aged well because I use the term AI (that eventually becomes an android as she builds herself a robotic body). And this is a (semi) goofy superhero story! If you write sci-fi it’s even worse.

Hearing my coworkers talking about using Copilot (the only AI the employer allows) even “only” to extract info from a PDF and reformat it into a spreadsheet…I dunno. It’s not genAI specifically but I’m not comfortable with it because of genAI. And really feeling out of step with the rest of them.
