I'm approaching a full year since I came back to America to care for my ailing father. He is doing as well as he can, having his good and bad days, and I am grateful that I get to be there for him during his twilight years. I'm halfway to getting my associate's, and am balancing school/care/work.

21 Years Later, Dave Matthews Bus Poop Incident Makes Chicagoans Laugh â And Groan
Dave Matthewsâ tour bus emptied its 800-pound septic tank on people taking a cruise 21 years ago this week. The DMB poop incident is "now old enough to drink," one social media post pointed out.

What was the big scandal at your school? My 8th grade physical science teacher accidentally killed a goldfish during a science demonstration. He placed a goldfish bowl w/ water in it inside a vacuum jar. The idea was that the fish would swim around while the water seemingly boiled. It... didn't.

Had to travel for school, so I'm staying at my brother's. I think his pets, Barry the Cat and Dan the Dog, like me.

When I was in high school back in 2005 I helped with the 9/11 memorial program. The song we used for the really horrible stuff was "Dreamer." My best friend suggested it, and hearing it was Ozzy, I wasn't sure until I heard it. I still have just a bit of an emotional reaction about it.

In remembrance of the absolute legend, name some of your favorite Ozzy songs. Bark At The Moon/Over The Mountain are untouchable as far as I'm concerned.

If Gunn's Superman is the most comic book accurate movie, then where was THIS scene? Hmmmmm?!

Saw Superman. For those of you who may remember a thread of mine on bird-site talking about Supes and the hope he represents, you won't be surprised to hear I dug Gunn's take on Supes. The film itself is also pretty good, albeit clunky and not nearly as funny as I think it was intending to be.

Steve Harrison found the VHS of this 1982 cable show, now here it is for everyone! Thrill to Toei's NYC office, be awestruck by the toy collection, and be intrigued by a short English-dub segment of a Queen Millennia TV episode! It's all waiting for you... Beyond The Horizon!

Genuinely impressive set design. It also pulls off the rare feat of being ironically enjoyable, while not having a single mean bone in its body.

Finished Expedition 33. Very, VERY good game, but I do feel it could have benefited from some environmental polish, and its ending lands with a thud. As a GOTY contender, its kinda frustrating how these blemishes keep cropping up. At least Esquie is awesome.

I know Expedition 33 is a "budget" title, but the jank to praise ratio is way too skewed. Having fun, but this should've been ironed out.

Finding out that Expedition 33 has, of all things, an OVERWORLD MAP?! Guys, the classic JRPG is BACK! (still, going back to a savepoint to actually be able to level up is KINDA bullshit)

The dichotomy of how hard this song goes, versus the apparent nonchalance of singer Mark Lanegan's stage presence NEEDS to be studied.

Had to get a new phone after my old one, seven full years of faithful service, was giving up the ghost. Wasn't too attached to the phone, but the case features a sticker that I pulled from an Irish bar in Osaka. Lotta memories imbued in this case. It'll never leave my sight.

Back in 2019, I was in Philly to film a crossover with The Angry Video Game Nerd. The video never saw the light of day, unfortunately, and it remains the biggest "what if?" part of my entire online video career. Cool guy, though. We geeked out about old, crappy movies/work place safety videos.
