Re: Horses. I really kind of wish the old shareware model was re-adopted for indie gaming; right down to sending someone money in an envelope. I think the more crap we face from modern solutions, the more we should think about returning to older tech, outside of corporate view/control.

Adding to this: I stopped playing Massively Multiplayer games of every stripe. They all devolve into game loops that eventually feel like work. Like a job; and I do not play games to work, I play them to have fun. 75 hours of the same loop, doing dailies, etc sounds like a wretched time sink.
