The STATE should be delivering food, and should be protecting us. The STATE should be making sure families have laptops and reliable internet for remote learning and should be preventing evictions. The STATE should be driving neighbors to appointments, and be out in the streets. WE ARE THE STATE.

Every time I see a report about Minnesotans defeating ICE or them leaving I'm like what the actual fuck because that's not true (yet). People are working their butts off this week and people are still getting taken and I am a big ball of rage and despair at times & I'm not in the thick of it.

This is Minneapolis: A neighbor sold some silver jewelry she inherited from her grandparents to cover rent for a neighbor who hasn't been able to work during these 7 weeks of federal occupation and is at risk of eviction. We need an eviction moratorium NOW. And resources for food delivery.
