Governor Abbott's top campaign consultant is seeking photos of his opponent, Gina Hinojosa, from when she was a teenager in high school - a minor. This is so gross and creepy. Get Abbott out. Vote for
@ginafortexas.bsky.social
for Governor. She would NEVER seek underage photos of someone.

Two generations. Same conclusion. Whether you say “book bans undermine critical thinking” or “book bans are giving dystopian nightmare,” the truth is the same: restricting access to books hurts everyone. The freedom to read matters at every age.

D+11 on a generic ballot probably looks something like 40 seats gained in the House - IF we don’t get complacent. Have you registered to vote yet? Have you double checked to make sure you’re still registered? Do you have any documentation you need to vote? Start planning now.

Attorney General Ken Paxton might need to go back to school. June 1st =/= December 1st. He doesn’t get to change the law if he disagrees with it 🤷🏽♀️ SB 8 is clear; the statutory deadline is December 1st.

Fla. voters passed a self-executing constitutional amendment in 2018 ending felon disenfranchisement — but the GOP just ignored the self-executing language & nullified it. You'd almost question, given this ignoring of duly enacted constitutional changes, whether Fla. has a republican form of gov't.

Kids should be learning that AI output isn’t trustworthy, where it really comes from, and how it’s disrupting our ability to tell what’s real. They shouldn’t be learning that AI will make them more efficient or do their work for them because it can’t. That would be propaganda, not education
