My elderly mother recently suffered a severe fall that has left her with multiple fractures & immense pain. The rehab facility she’s in is costly and Medicare won’t cover her stay. We’re working hard to get her home, but the financial burden is overwhelming. ANY support would mean the world to us. 🙏🏻

I lost the sweetest little love of my life yesterday, my only reason to get up every day and keep trying. She was the only thing I felt grateful for in a sea of things that are just hurt and disappointment and bad. She's my only light, my only family, my only companion. And I feel like I'm dying.

This gentle sweetling is the little love of my life. A month ago she was diagnosed with laryngeal cancer, and the awful looming loss of that is so big & heavy that it feels too sacred to even share. She is my whole heart, my sole companion. Some days are just really, really hard and lonely.

Today I found one of my cat's biggest whiskers on the bed where she curls up to sleep next to me every night and I guess there are still small and blessed things to be grateful for.
