Just saw this today. This is a transparent attempt to KILL DUE PROCESS by lying about the job of immigration judge and stacking the deck through hiring only bloodthirsty lawyers who want to deport people. This comes after they pushed out over 100 judges deemed too likely to grant relief.

It’s widely known (and, I think, pretty uncontroversial) that learning requires effort — specifically, if you don’t have to work at getting the knowledge, it won’t stick. Even if an LLM could be trusted to give you correct information 100% of the time, it would be an inferior method of learning it.

Really excellent point that often gets lost in the (deserved) mockery. These things are not neutral arbiters of truth. They are easily manipulated extensions of the ideology of their creators. The attempt to shove them into every conceivable knowledge space is an explicitly political project.
