My anecdotal observation, from working with lots of college students for the past 17 years, is that widespread Chromebook and laptop use has displaced handwriting instruction and practice in school. That’s both cursive and print. Going online during COVID made it even worse.

I am begging people to go find a scientist who has produced something interesting and beautiful, then share that with attribution! There are lots of things you can post instead of fakes! The post will still do numbers!

The universe is a glorious, stunningly beautiful place, and it’s offensive & gross when people produce or share fake space imagery.
