Half-fares will be accepted at all times. Currently, half-fare tix r not valid on AM Peak trains (an exception in the law permits agencies to charge full-fare during peak hours). No mention of express buses, tho. @pcac.org heavily pushed this. It's a small revenue impact. Most condrs let it slide.

A lot of interesting discussion here on buses today, and I hope @pcac.org's new report on BRT and what it could look like on Northern Blvd and Flatbush can add to that. There is so much we can do to improve bus service on fares and through infrastructure. Glad to finally have some momentum!

From the IBX to 60+ newly accessible @NYCTSubway stations, there's a lot on the line for @MTA riders in Albany this year. Governor Hochul and the Legislature must agree to fully fund the MTA capital plan, delivering the transit system New Yorkers deserve and creating 72,000 jobs.

For the better part of 10 years, we've been fighting with @cssnyorg.bsky.social and @pcac.org to win half-price transit for New Yorkers who need it most. After winning an increase to 145% of federal poverty guidelines, we're calling on City Hall to increase Fair Fares eligibility to 200%!
