Did you know Cuomo signed the law that brought us the nation’s first, overwhelmingly successful congestion pricing program? But you won’t hear him take credit for it. If Cuomo had his way, he’d bring back gridlock traffic, crawling buses, and defund our transit system. DO NOT RANK CUOMO FOR MAYOR.

As Governor, Andrew Cuomo wasted years letting our subways crumble into disrepair. In 2017, when subway on-time performance hit a historic low of 65%, he declared an emergency for the Cuomo-created series of systemwide failures that became known as the Summer of Hell. 1/4

The state budget is due April 1. And if @govkathyhochul.bsky.social doesn't include proper funding, major new transit improvements in MTA's 2025-2029 Capital Plan will have to be cut. New elevators, signal upgrades, thousands of new buses and subway cars, the IBX, and more are all at risk!

Thanks to @RidersAlliance.org for organizing us with colleagues @tstc.bsky.social @rpa.org @TransAlt.org @riseandresist.bsky.social to call for full funding of the MTA 2025-29 Capital Plan. It's a win win for the state economy, and Albany has to step up in the face of federal cuts.

It was a beautiful morning to stand together on the steps of City Hall to demand a fully-funded @mta.info Capital Plan! If @govkathyhochul.bsky.social doesn't include necessary funding in the state budget, major accessibility, reliability, and resilience upgrades will need to be cut.

Working together with advocates and straphangers, @council.nyc.gov is proud to have secured additional investments that increase eligibility for Fair Fares, providing discounted transit fares to nearly 200K more New Yorkers.

For the better part of 10 years, we've been fighting with @cssnyorg.bsky.social and @pcac.org to win half-price transit for New Yorkers who need it most. After winning an increase to 145% of federal poverty guidelines, we're calling on City Hall to increase Fair Fares eligibility to 200%!
