Have overheard parts of at least two conversations between normies about the new Superman’s themes while running errands today. Somewhere, presumably Scotland, Grant Morrison ought to be celebrating the recent success of a past magical operation re: All-Star Superman. Their idea seeds are sprouting.

Also: comic story conventions like the hero & villain bantering had the vibe, for Lex especially, that he was posturing for the live social feeds of the professional henchman class that he's surrounded by and dependent on. You know those CHUDs are all wannabe villain streamers.

Appreciated the choice in Superman to keep the camera at arm’s length or at what that world’s version of commercial drones could see. Observing things from angles that would be all over the DCU’s social media feeds. A tangible way to put the viewer INTO the world as its population would view it.

Got my copy of Daggerheart today. Had high hopes for this system, and I'm happy to say they erred on the side of ambition with this first release. Full rules, enemy creation guidelines, multiple campaign settings with their own unique mechanics, and more all in one book? Pretty stellar.
