I love finding The Perfect Difficulty For Me in a game. Monster Train 2 is this, BG3 tactician is this, and Shovel Knight is this for platformers. It's hard, and I don't want it to be any harder, but it's consistently just something I pay total attention to.

This is the most boring thing to post about, but: I'm only a few days into very limited social media and it's making a really big difference in my mood. There's self examination to be done as to *why* I'm happier not reading other people's opinions without seeking them out, but I'm *much* happier.

Honestly think the gamecube layout sucks. It doesn't actually accomplish anything. It takes more movement to control multiple buttons and is much more opinionated for the game of "It sounds smart and designery to say 'most games have one primary action button :)'"
