It was weird being off social media during the Blippo+ release but in a way it was very healthy. The fan mail we’ve received (yes, physical real letters) from viewers is from another level, or planet I should say. Truly. 🙂 Absolutely lovely and meaningful to be part of a project that resonates.

I'll be honest, it's getting difficult to maintain my principled stance against competitive industry accolades... 😄 I will say that the IGF does this kind of thing the way it should be done (with a healthy honorable mentions list for every category, too), so it is an honor to be recognized here.

The more time goes on, the more I am convinced that in just a few years, we will recognize Baby Steps and Blippo+ as two of 2025's defining games in the same vein that we talk about Disco Elysium and The Outer Wilds for their respective years.

Re-watching Mad Men, and one of its under-remarked upon qualities is that from the beginning we regularly see Don Draper not impressing or leaving any impression on the working people, beat poets, or whoever else he encounters outside of the office. The myth of him is punctured from the outset.
