Every child deserves a safe, stable, & loving home. Research shows that LGBTQ+ foster youth thrive more when placed with affirming caregivers. Now, Trump’s recission of the Designated Placement Rule puts the most vulnerable youth at even greater risk.

I’m thrilled to deliver the $500,000 I secured in federal Community Project Funding for the City of Rosemead to support renovations at the Garvey Community Center! With this funding, the Center will continue to serve as a vital hub for programs, resources, and connection for residents of all ages.

On AANHPI Women’s Equal Pay Day, we reflect on the persistent wage gap that continues to impact our communities. For every dollar earned by white, non-Hispanic men, AANHPI women earn just 83 cents.

Trump unilaterally started a war with Iran that the American people did not want. It cost 13 American servicemembers' lives, skyrocketed costs for gas and basic necessities, and shattered U.S. credibility following Trump's threats to annihilate Iran's population.

Yesterday, I was thrilled to deliver $1,031,000 to the City of South Pasadena to update critical public safety communications technology. With this federal funding, South Pasadenans will be better prepared, informed, and protected during emergencies.

Fighting for language access in Monterey Park is how I first got my start in public service. In CA-28, our diverse community depends on translation services to access small business loans, apply for disaster relief, or receive essential medical care.
