I stood with faith leaders of all different religions to demand that SNAP funding be fully restored — because feeding the hungry is a moral obligation. There are no red states or blue states when it comes to hunger. There are just people who want to keep their children fed.

Trump is now saying he will only pay SNAP benefits once the Republican shutdown is over, despite a federal court order. As a result, 42 million kids, seniors, veterans, and people with disabilities could go hungry. This is illegal, immoral, and absolutely cruel.

The average household spent an additional $208 on the same goods and services compared to last year. When are costs going to go down like Trump promised?

Republicans control the White House, the Senate, and the House. This is their shutdown.

Today is the first day of Open Enrollment at Healthcare.gov. Millions of Americans are seeing their premiums for 2026 double or triple.  Why? Because Trump and Republicans would rather keep the government shut down than lower health care costs.

November is Native American Heritage Month. At a time when our public lands and shared histories are under attack, we must stand with our Native communities. Let us continue to elevate their voices, honor their cultures, and fight for climate justice.

The U.S. government is locking up its own CITIZENS. Over 170 Americans have been detained by federal agents — including kids with cancer and pregnant women. Any one of us could be next. There MUST be accountability.

$200 million on private jets or affordable health care? $300 million on a ballroom or affordable health care? $40 billion for Argentina or affordable health care? The Trump administration puts their own interests above the American people every single time.

Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders are sounding the alarm: If Republicans don’t act, health care premiums are going to skyrocket for millions in our communities.

Immigrants contribute to our country in every way. We are health care workers, farmworkers, engineers, scientists, teachers + more. This National Immigrants Day, we recommit to fighting for an immigration system rooted in fairness and compassion — not fear and discrimination.

Why isn’t the Administration taking the billions it’s using to bail out Argentina, buy private jets, or build a fancy ballroom to lower health care costs instead?

Trump said he would go after the “worst of the worst.” Yet, according to ICE’s own data, most of the immigrants detained have no criminal record, and US citizens are being snatched off the street. This is a threat to our democracy, our liberty, and our safety.

Trump said he’d fix inflation on day one. We’re now EIGHT MONTHS in and prices are higher than ever. Trump never actually cared about helping working families. And on top of that, Trump is going to hike health care costs and take away food assistance for millions of Americans.

Thanks to President Trump and Congressional Republicans, millions of Americans are at risk of losing their health care coverage, including Armond from California.

Republicans have been on vacation for OVER A MONTH. They need to come back to D.C., reopen the government, and DO THEIR JOBS.

Air traffic controllers. National park rangers. Social Security Administration workers. Food safety inspectors. TSA agents. Public health experts. Federal workers keep our country moving, and they shouldn’t fall victim to Republicans’ political games.

In the wealthiest nation in the world, Americans should not have to choose between paying for medicine or putting food on the table. This is the future that CAPAC is fighting for. Republicans need to come back from their vacation & address the health care crisis they created.
