The repercussions of today’s Medina v. Planned Parenthood South Atlantic decision will be far-reaching and devastating. For AAPI women and gender-expansive people–especially immigrants who disproportionately rely on Medicaid–this ruling will deepen already existing inequities.

From our friends at Transgender Law Center: The Supreme Court has upheld Tennessee’s ban on gender-affirming care for trans youth in U.S. v. Skrmetti. Let’s be clear: gender-affirming care is care. Trans youth deserve safety, support, and the freedom to grow into who they are on their own terms.

We oppose the 2025 Entry Ban–a cruel, racist policy that unjustly targets community members from the non-Western world and Muslim-majority countries.
