A discount for having good taste in games, basically Blippo+ isn't really a GAME, rather than an interactive FMV TV experience as you surf channels from a parallel dimension. Blippo isn’t a game, it’s a JOURNEY

A few months ago people were filling out their grids of all-time games, and when faced with best art direction, a strange but undeniable true choice emerged from the recesses of my mind: Blippo+. Incredible tribute to filmmaking on the ground level, and the joy of connecting across space.

In honor of our Apple Design Award nomination we wanted to share some ‘lil details of Blippo’s design we love. Blippo+ was designed by @teamyacht.com (w/ help from Femtofax & CUBIS! designer @theuniverse.bsky.social) w/ contributing design and implementation by developer @marklacroix.bsky.social.

Finishing off an accidentally themed ‘the queer kids are alright’ evening with the ending of Blippo+. Silly, beautiful, cheekily weird, unafraid of sneaking in avant garde drone and glitchy electronica, frequently hilarious. Get bent for a better world, people, and stay attuned.

Played another sitting of Blippo+ and it's scratching such a strange itch for my imagined nostalgia as young millennial. I have vivid memories growing up hoping I'd surf onto a channel a quarter as a weird as these and my younger self is happy. 10/10 no notes.

Some will complain Blippo+ is "not a proper game," as interaction is largely limited to channel hopping and passively viewing (at least as far as I've played), but I love games that want to take you to new and interesting places. It's an art piece, an experience, and I'd recommend it to anyone

31) Blippo+ (Color Ver.) When people talk about the need to put more "weird art" into the world, this absolutely fits the bill. A variety of (mostly) live action performances framed as transmissions from another planet, weaved together with an overall narrative. Very cool and worth checking out.

I have found blippo+, a game that is just channel surfing through an alien cable broadcast. This game was made specifically for me. The creators are probably not aware of that, but it’s true.

I played @com.y-a-c-h-t.com 's Blippo+ today on Steam Deck docked under our TV, and it was such a delight to discover (by accident) that I could control it with a TV remote. This works because the dock supports HDMI CEC but it felt like magic for Blippo+ specifically. 10/10 experience.
