I watched the new 4K transfer of this and it looks great. Like a number of PTA’s films it was due for an upgrade.

Rewatch complete of Lam Ngai Kai’s bonkers manga adaptation. Yuen Biao as always is great and gets a chance to let loose in an extended action scene with a great extended cameo by the legendary Gordon Liu. Zany stop motion creatures, 90s effects and a rocking end credits song!

I caught up with last year's CHRISTMAS EVE IN MILLER'S POINT, which reminded me of EEPHUS before I knew it was from some of the same people. It's just a nice time at a family get-together, low on plot and conflict, but not at all saccharine.

my son Josh & I watched #WAR2 on #Netflix. To its credit, it kept his attention for the whole 3+hour running time. The story has more twists & turns than a Shakespearean play & turns the bromance so high its ridiculous. The action set-pieces are mostly CGI but the close quarters icicle fight rocks.
