It's truly crazy to me that Stephen Hopkins willingly came back for more! Truly a gentleman. And we still didn't get through everything!

I think they're self-evidently incredible movies, of course, but that's a separate issue. It's just funny that there's a decades long project of people stubbornly insisting two of the most successful movies ever made are irrelevant because they personally don't like them.

Finally got around to checking this out and was pleasantly surprised. Colorful, epic and most importantly entertaining. Cynthia Erivo is as always terrific and I heard and now believe how amazing Ariana Grande was literally stealing every scene even with just a hair flip or two.

Rewatch complete of Sammo Hung’s comedy/kung fu classic. Not all the humor hits but the training and fight scenes elevate it to another level. A truly astounding starring debut for Yuen Biao and his unbelievable physical abilities. Final fight is 15 minutes jaw dropping action!

WB doesn't have any new wide releases in December, they should bring One Battle After Another back into 2,000-ish theaters on Dec 19, make tickets $8 all day for two weeks, entice people to catch up on it on the big screen. I know they'll re-expand it in late January after the Oscar nominations drop

Truly worth the wait as the Duffer Brothers are bringing their A game with a thrilling and epic start to this terrifying and shockingly violent final season. The cast is excellent and everyone gets a chance to shine while new characters fit in perfectly. Excited for part two!

James Nunn continues to be one of the most consistent and talented directors bringing us entertaining DTV flicks. By the numbers crime caper elevated by Beckinsale who is great, Lewis Tan effortlessly stealing the movie along with plenty of varied and violent hard hitting action.

My youngest is watching The Night Comes For Us. He also claimed Iko is one of the best action stars today. How I feel right now….

Expected this to be style over substance but it’s got a real heart to it on top of the god tier action. Ep 6 being almost entirely dialogue free and hitting those pristine emotional beats was phenomenal. Great setup for season 2 also. 5/5

Rewatch complete of this John Woo action classic. Van Damme and mullets have never looked as cool as under Woo’s watchful eye. Henriksen is perfectly over the top while Vosloo is calculating and chilling. Stylized bloody action, jazzy soundtrack and slow-mo make this memorable.

Few things better than a training scene in a kung fu flick and Lau Kar-leung was one of the very best and MAD MONKEY KUNG FU highlighted what made him such a special director. Hsiao Ho may be one of the most physically gifted performers ever and this gives him a chance to shine!
