Just heard a disturbing story on NPR. There is a new trend in medicine: Doctors going to a subscription model, or "Concierge Medicine." It costs up to $50,000 a year, in addition to what people were already paying. Healthcare will be a luxury item within a few years.

Per NPR this morning: you can now finance deliveries on services like Door Dash...spread the payments out over 4 months. Just one more sign that we're totally fucked.

Bernie and AOC may become the new Democratic pop stars, even though Bernie isn't technically a Democrat. I think it's because people are desperate to see somebody doing something and fighting back, even if it's just rhetorical at this point. I hope more Democrats join the fight.
