Notes from a Regicide by Isaac Fellman a trans man reporter tells the love story of his parents, two trans revolutionaries from an isolated and fantastical monarchy, and how they came to adopt him years later made me cry soft tears at several points. lushly written with such love for trans life

Valerin the Fair by Rien Gray fantasy romance novella about a butch druid-prince-knight and the sexy older sorceress that steals her away I made this my partner's introduction to fantasy, and i could not have picked better for something short, hot, and exciting. really excited to read the next one
