My motivation this week leading up to Christmas break…

We watched #gentlemanbroncos last night and it was certainly…something. Napoleon Dynamite vibes, but on acid. Honestly, probably a better experience even on certain green gummies. Sam Rockwell as Bronco had me in tears though. Give me a movie based on that. Plus that python poo scene killed me 😂

How I feel between Thanksgiving and Christmas break as somebody who works in the education field.

I’ve been enjoying Bluesky since leaving Twitter, but why do I get SO many posts in my feed about photography, foxes, embroidery, and books? All things that are not really interests of mine. It’s not like I’m interacting with posts/topics like that on here. Maybe just algorithm growing pains 🤷🏼‍♂️

Finally deactivated my Twitter account. All moved in here. Grass is definitely greener.

Listening to the audiobook “The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck” by Mark Manson. It feels like the kind of thing that comes into your life right when you need it to. Puts a lot into perspective for me in regards to really evaluating where I put my time/care/concerns.

That first day back to work after Thanksgiving break always sucks. I’ll be here saying the same thing about Christmas break soon.
