This is hilarious; in my sophomore year of college I checked out the DVD of Gus Van Sant’s Elephant from the college library. It was scratched to hell and couldn’t play. I didn’t finally see it until a few years later. I just checked out Alan Clarke’s Elephant on DVD and THE SAME THING HAPPENED.
