Atul Butte died yesterday. The world lost a giant. A big bear of a man. With a huge smile. With love for everyone. With energy that could power a room. I loved everything about Atul. I loved how he was always happy. I loved how excited he was about science and helping people.

Good news!! They have extended the public comment period until June 7th! So you still have time to submit!! The proposed rule could have huge negative impacts for the federal government, particularly the more technical agencies.

I guess if you can’t be bothered to learn what the science actually says about vaccinating pregnant people and kids against Covid, you probably also can’t be arsed to learn what your argency’s formal procedures are for changing vaccine recommendations, either.

The

This kid is 15, and so has a moral clarity and uprightness that no adult elected official would or could ever have. There aren't really and never have been two sides of this issue, but if it has to be argued as a binary thing I don't see how anything less than this could seem like the side to be on.

A game for the ages. The Jets made a seemingly impossible comeback and Hellebuyck redeemed himself after a very shaky start. He ended with basically 0 GSAx this game. You really can't get any better than this.

The lack of pushback from

Just to be clear, this is a violation of the fundamental ethical principle in clinical trial design called "equipoise." Equipoise means that no-one is exposed to excess risk just to test the therapy. That's specifically *why* vaccine trials don't use placebo arms. Ethical violation as POLICY.

I agree with Murat. The narrative is all about Helle (deservedly) but at the end of the day, Jets won’t win unless secondary scoring shows up. Anyone outside 55, 81 and 91.
