We've recieved more photos from the inside of the South Shore apartment building that federal immigration agents raided over Monday night. Doors bashed in, window panes missing, furniture smashed, water on the floor. It's unclear what damage was pre-existing and what was inflicted in the raid.

in wheaton, illinois, this morning— it appears bystanders helped chase off this crew of ice agents, who had boxed in a person's car outside a convenience store. multiple people showed up and recorded the interaction. after a brief back-and-forth with agents, the feds got in their cars and left.

in light of the kimmel news, just a reminder that a few days ago a prominent fox news host literally called for killing homeless people. right afterward, someone shot up a couple homeless encampments. that fox news host still has his job.

The Mexican Independence Day Parade in Chicago's Pilsen neighborhood went on as planned today despite concern of disruption by federal immigration agents. While parade festivities were underway, volunteers patrolled the area for on lookout for federal agents.

The parking lot at the Broadview ICE facility is packed this morning—most vehicles we've seen here so far. Two masked men exit the door inside, appear to be checking out the fleet of vehicles. Small gaggle of press outside. No reports yet of any detainees arriving or leaving.

Two men in camo with an ICE Special Response Team (per patch) are inside the gates of the processing center outside Chicago this morning. Hard to make out, but one of them is also sporting a patch with what looks like the Chicago flag on it.

Still outside the ICE facility. Periodically, neighbors keep driving by and spontaneously joining the evolving group of hecklers. Very small group for now. There's currently a PSL led protest happening up by the Naval Station, and an anti-deportation protest planned for 5pm in downtown Chicago.

Just endless terror for our immigrant communities.
