I didn't properly appreciate this about folks with chronic illnesses until I lived with one but they get absolutely unfairly painted as lazy or not dedicated. Engagement in this October's municipal elections seems very low. Municipal government is the realm that MOST impacts our daily lives. The water that comes out of your taps, the roads/pathways/sidewalks you use every day, your safety, city services and infrastructure, etc. Get informed. Vote.

I am happy that HCWs are now included, and that BC is providing free Covid shots to many Albertans as well. Great for those that can travel. However, the most vulnerable are still excluded from access to Covid shots. The govt gets NO credit from me until they reverse this policy completely.

One of my dearest friends (sister really) told me recently “They don’t deserve you” Those 4 words have been rattling around in my head. So true & what I needed to hear. You may need to hear them too. If you do, please know you are enough the way you are ❤️
