Thanks! It needed something to 'pop' against and I tried quite a few things but this was the winner. I have already fallen into the habit of talking to the moose and the bear. It's such a fun piece!

We are staying at a friend’s here in Cherryville BC. He is a huge supporter of the arts. Our friend Tom Gale paints here every August, here he is with some work on the go.

He's unabashedly a real person who is both a proud craftsman and artist. You can sit and chat welding and metallurgy, colour theory, or about framing crates, or weird abstractions. At least in my travels so far, a wildly rare breed these days. But a much needed one for us younglings!
