On this day in 2020, the world was in turmoil and uncertainty. I decided to take a walk in nature. I was inspired by the shapes of the “Grasses” I saw. The result was the first in the “Bent But Not Broken” series.

Dammit Slavo & his talking sculptures. This one talked to me in 2020 & lives happily at our place. Buddies is now trying to communicate with both me AND Mr Uptown.

I didn't know that I needed one of these. Apparently I do.

A lovely update from the collector. Here is “Reaching” in situ.

My Gallery in Montreal is closing as the owners are retiring. One of the pieces I’m getting back is a polished steel sculpture titled “Pirouette”. It was part of dance inspired series when my eldest was a student at Canada’s National Ballet School. It will be available.

We had Julia and the boys over for dinner. Of course I had to sneak a video of Aiden, Darren would be happy. Also my poor piano is so out of tune.

Every once in a while I make a piece available from my personal collection. This one is titled “Reaching” and it is painted in Canada flag red🇨🇦. It is 26” tall and a perfect way to commemorate these Olympics.

I can finally show the photos from the movie “Second Guessing Fate”. It was filmed partly at the Art Gallery of Alberta.

Exciting news, I’ve been asked to partner with the luxury appliance brand Gaggenau to launch their new line inspired by Bauhaus design. I will have five sculptures on display for their official launch in mid March in Montreal.
