I’m making this piece available from my own collection. This giant “Nest” painted in antique bronze with three eggs painted in metallic blue. I’ll even throw in the cut wooden piece.

Today would have been @drdagly.bsky.social birthday. I delivered this sculpture to him on his birthday in 2018. We then shared a bottle of red in the temple. I sure miss his mischievous playfulness, his poetry, his photos, his friendship.

For the 3rd stone from the North Saskatchewan riverbank to honor Dr M, I chose the Guggenheim Museum’s giant spider with the Talus-Ball looking sculpture nearby. Plopping it into nearby estuary, I’m pretty sure when Dr M was here in 2024 he surely declared “now THIS is big, @slavocech.bsky.social 😜

Look at this beautiful thing! The peak of a dome with white panels spraying out in rays. A black circle is filled with colourful Indigenous beadwork-inspired paintings of flowers and plants all intertwined and spreading out in branches and vines and flower clusters from a large pink rose at center.
