Sam was attacked by John's dog at noon today while Kim was bringing him back from a walk. He has a big gash on his back and a couple of puncture wounds. He needed 8 stitches at the vet and they had to put in a drain because his skin was separated from his muscle tissue when the dog shook him.

Just because you did renos all day at the lake doesn't mean you can't also make great butter chicken. So I did. (It was really, really good)

I did not expect to have this cut & glued up today. Really liking the look of this even in its raw state. This wood is called sapele and it's supposed to have good properties for a cutting board. It's expensive - 3 1x6x6ft cost me $160. But you can't buy a crap IKEA laminate countertop for that.

Somehow I decided to build these trailer cupboards on hard mode but I'm pretty pleased with how they're going. A bit slow but getting faster.

Today I figured out that I'd installed the euro hinges on the new trailer upper cupboards the wrong way (the forstner holes in the cabinet rather than the door panel) so I had to go buy some more material & redo the end pieces. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Got em done though. Tomorrow is cutting & finishing the doors
