To solve the housing crisis, we must not only build homes, but also have the infrastructure to surround them. But the govt's housing plan contains no ideas for this – just more ways to incentivise the private market. After all this time, they're still treating housing as a market commodity.

People with severe mental health difficulties need to be in an appropriate facility with specialist services and supports – an overcrowded prison is not that place. The general health of the prison population and the spread of infectious diseases due to chronic overcrowding is very concerning.
