I think one of my visceral reactions to the protesters is because they are bullies. Loud, boorish bullies. And I have no time for bullies. The irony is Trump caused the global crisis, and miniTrumps are causing the local one.

Down having a look at the blockade on O'Connell street and what strikes me most is that this is in reality a very small protest that looks big because of the size of the vehicles involved. There's a few dozen people standing around at most.

Too much analysis that I've seen has said that the protesters have a valid argument. They don't care about fuel prices, they are just using this as a way to push their far right views. They need to go home before people die from missing treatment for dialysis, cancer etc.
