I'd really like to see leadership calling for impeachment and removal, regardless of whether they have the votes to get it done. Same way we called for marriage equality before we had the votes. A leader's job is to lead. If a genocidal threat isn't impeachable, then nothing is.

More than 1 death a week. The American gov't just straight-up murdering folks living in America. Not to mention the multiple thousands of murders the White House is now executing beyond our borders. What a fucking legacy for this once proud nation.

Ever wonder how to get rid of a mattress? Or how to find resources for a neighbor in need? Call 311. 311 is contacted 100,000 times every day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year. No call is too small. So on the anniversary of 311 (3/11), I decided to answer some of those calls myself.

The airport security lines we're seeing now have a specific cause, but the larger problems with air travel have been building for years, a combination of a hollowed-out public sector and creeping privatization, as Bob Kuttner explains.
