Totally no ghosts. Completely ghost-free series. Zero traces of the supernatural which will later cause one character to punch another right in the snoot for keeping things from her.

You know which athletes immediately get caught in this gender testing bullshit? Black women. Racist stereotypes denying Black women their womanhood go way back. Scratch transphobia in sports the tiniest bit and you uncover racism immediately.

Lions attack with bite forces to the neck, crushing bone into open spine fractures, mangled soft tissue, & ruptured jugular and carotid arteries for rapid blood loss. Lion claws are even "more blade-shaped than the canines & inflict deeply penetrating" lacerations. (Kirtland et al. 2024).

The extinction of Stellerās sea cow may be more complex than we thought. Ancient DNA reveals Stellerās Sea Cows were already in long-term decline before humans reached the Bering Sea, suggesting fur traders didnāt *start* the extinction, they just finished it.

In Lions, about half of male pairs are brothers, but half have formed their team because solo males team up with other nomadic males to form a coalition. Because just like in MMM, TEAMWORK MAKES THE DREAMWORK! (Packer 2026)

Hey check it out! It's a stone projectile point tip embedded in an aurochs humerus!! I haven't seen that with any of our Halaf aurochs or domestic cattle bones (although I'm not the main person doing the analysis; that's my diss advisor, although I excavated them). They do have cutmarks.

Combatant Aurochs maybe from 12th century Poland, but 12,000 years ago Aurochs & Camel both used these seasonal water holes at the Pleistocene-Holocene transition- humans carved āmonumental rock engravings of camels, ibex, wild equids, gazelles, AND AUROCHS" (Guagnin et al. 2025).

Grey fox. Sarcoptic mange devastates wolves, coyotes & red foxes. In wolves, immunity & skin barrier genes explain who survives. Grey foxes are remarkably mange-resistant. With the new grey fox reference genome, we have the tools to discover why!
