In the past 24 hours, I’ve had a ton of conversations with people both impacted by and frightened of the administration’s current orders. In many of those conversations, folks have found these suggestions for what to do first to be helpful, so I coalesced them into something sharable.

No matter their race, creed, ethnicity, or immigration status, your neighbors are not - and never have been - your enemy. The villains in the American story have always been the wealthy and powerful interests seeking to turn you against your neighbor in order to maintain their place at the top.
