I used to do this thing where I would re-imagine shared universes. (Think the Marvel Universe, DC Universe, ect.) It was a lot of fun and a good creative exercises. Like what do I consider fundamentally Spider-man? I'm not a huge comic book reader so it was an interesting thought experiment.
