I think my problem with Backrooms is it feels very Baby’s First Psychological horror, which is a me problem as I’m sure a lot of people vibe with that. But when your move opens with a guy explaining to his shrink he puts walls up to avoid connecting and then later he’s like “oh these darn walls”

The Xena episode based on The Odyssey is easily the most offensive adaptation, no not because it got details of the story wrong but because it implied Xena would choose this guy when Gabby is literally right there
