This game and this ad both swell with impeccable aesthetics and informed my young mind's notions of dark fantasy to this day. I ran a memorable pulpy, neo-noir type joints in this system. Granted it's a total joke, but even in jest it's completely focused on its mission and its vibes. Funny that its sincere analog in my eyes is certified loverboy @lukegearing.bsky.social 's "Violence," named the same by total coincidence.

Allen's really done an excellent job of crafting an adventure that's classic in style and scope, with fun ideas that would slot into a campaign pretty effortlessly. Sorely tempted to run this as maybe the second dungeon for my next campaign. Give it a look! It does a lot with just a few pages.
