I worked nearly all day on my commissions. Going to bed mentally exhausted but I did good work and having a deadline in view helps me to feel less overwhelmed. Tomorrow will be another full day of commission work. Playing a bit of Phantasy Star 2 in bed before closing my eyes. 😴😴

Depressive and oppressive settings often go alongside horror games. Which make playing them sometimes pretty depressing yeah. Which makes me want to write an horror game with a super upbeat positive setting to contrast things. Characters face horrors but the world itself is nice and wholesome. 🤔🤔

One of my groups started playing #GOZR from @jvwest.bsky.social We rolled some characters and the 70s-80s cartoons vibes are tons of fun, I rolled a WIZARD, here is BINX, everything randomly generated, from the shape of her ears to her wearing a thong. I love the goobers that the game create.

Owlcat Games joined the expanding list of studios using AI during their production. Their producers are currently doing PR to say that AI « wont make it into the final product » but we know that this is just corporate speech to say that are going to gradually use more AI.

I got the feeling that what small indie games need in space like Reddit is not more promo and review posts, is simply more people sharing positive play experiences with those games. Stuff like we started a campaign of GOZR and having tons of fun. Yeah you will get people shitting on your fun but 🤷🏻‍♀️
