Good morning Bluesky! Today I’m sketching characters from my story and trying really hard to get caught up on my writing class. I need a reading day though. Or three in a row.

Drawing the characters from my story. April has really been rough so far but I have to say, drawing these characters and getting to know them has really helped keep myself together and out of pits of misery etc.

The Duke. Another character from my story. I’m going to try and finish a write up on him for Patreon later today. Never leaves his rooms. Strange scratching and howling from within. Rattling chains and red meat.

witch familiar time

For ages my go to music was electronic. I can draw with it on without being distracted and it gives me a rhythm to work to. But at 49 I have recently discovered Hip Hop and I’m very happy.

Seaweed Spirit. Another ocean spirit from my book. I’m not sure how many I’ll need… I think there’s a lot of spirits in this book. Gonna do the dishes quietly because my partner is still asleep. Then more drawing and writing.

I have some more commissions available now! It is £10 for one character but I can also draw something more complicated for a price we can discuss! Please let me know if you would like to have one!

This bugs me so bad. When I was younger I brought all my imagination to the books I read. Anything could be anything. I’d love that back, honestly and I don’t want anyone to take it away from people who need it.

Really enjoying my new sketchbook. I’m starting a drawing and then another etc and just noodling at all of them. It’s extremely satisfying.

There is no male loneliness epidemic. Most people are lonely I assume. There are no third spaces left where I am plus going out is just awful. Why focus on men? wtf? Men’s hearts need to be fixed but that’s on us.
