I watched the film The Amazing Mr. Blunden and at the end, you see all the cast again and they all say "goodbye, I hope you enjoyed it" or similar and I thought it would be nice if they did that in lots of films. Then I watched Predator, and they do something similar at the end of that too!!

This one is sort of like an elf or goblin who is a palace guard. They all march around awkwardly and say "Huphuphup" in time with the pace and speed of movement of the marching.

I was thinking about Angela Carter's The Lady of the House of Love again and now I want to draw some vampires again

I'm trying to sculpt the stretch goal goblin to be tall but also all around quite chunky because I want there to be a miniature that can be held in the hand whilst watching scary films and this way you can be protected by the power of goblins does that make sense?

I asked @rossydoesdrawings.bsky.social to draw me what if my dog Fox was a goblin, and sent the most gobliny pictures of Fox as reference. The result is the best little goblin ever! Doglin?

I think that maybe the fairies are all asleep at the moment until next week when they have a big party. And then they have to have a really big sleep until September. I don't even know what fairies would do in August, it's just distinctly unfairyish.

Sometimes I like to draw these little (big?) mecha. Mecha are cosy because I bet the pilot seat has lots of cushions and a heated seat and/or air conditioning. The main ones I like are the round mecha who are kind of rubbishy.
