Being featured on Okazu is actually so insane to me I spent my teenage years reading stuff that was recommended on it. What dimension do I exist on right now

I went to an art museum and it's so crazy how people in the 1800s did this stuff. No reference photos no cameras no Pinterest. Just straight up eyeballs, went outside and looked at a tree for two years. Then the house that stored the painting collapsed, and it got redrawn for another two years

It wasn't like this two years ago, but every time I go to the GL section in Japanese bookstores, there's usually always a lady or two there aggressively peering into the shelves. The shelves have been getting bigger and bigger, too

Stiff Neck is a visual novel, and an exceptional piece of queer fiction. A story about wonderfully messy people, and their suffering haunts because it is all simply too real. The writing, prose, art, and music is exceptional. Pick it up on Steam!

The characters in Stiff Neck suffer in ways I have never seen before. A banal type of suffering that that just exists in the background, that everyone acknowledges, like a stiff neck, but crushes everyone all the same. It's rather haunting and I can't stop thinking about it

Watched The Man from Nowhere and it's crazy funny how many times this movie's nachos got reheated throughout the 2010s. Watching this after everything that came out after was like a bombardment of cliches, and then it's like wait, this movie did it first!!

Last year I released two animations: Unmounted Stones and Minute of Action. These videos feature female protagonists doing action scenes, but are not age restricted- I received several misogynistic comments regarding them This year I released No Love 1/2. It features female protagonists,

"I don't watch movies I don't want to see that badly" is such a funny exchange in this episode. I don't remember the last time I watched a movie and hated it- if I have a vested interest in something before I started watching it then I usually walk out of it rather satisfied

Gonna be some very low-key yearning in the next No Love. The first one had to SPRINT to establish everything, but this one will have some moments for the characters to simmer in, like a soup

I re-watched some of my old fan animations now coming up to 2 to 3 years old now, and I'm shocking myself by the way I edited and framed some of these. Some of them feel so unhinged it was as if I was using 100% of my brain lmfao

Someone submitted No Love 1/2 to several movie databases so now it has a letterboxd entry. It's a terrifying prospect, and even more so that there are actually reviews on it. I've seen the feedbacks on socials, but being on Letterboxd asks: how does it hold up against real fucking movies?! lol

I would say that Genocidal Organ by Project Itoh is a book that comes to my mind basically all the time. It feels so relevant now, but what isn't? The movie doesn't even come close to breaching the subject matters the book delves into

So bizarre to me that a lot of gacha games now have characters with humongous ass and titties EXCEPT for the main character. Why am I so skinny in comparison to everyone else

Watched the Youtube-friendly version of Clockwork Girl. Now THAT's my kind of animation. It is SO delightfully violent, accompanied by a truly filthy and deplorable antagonist. When someone talks about the potential of animation compared to other mediums, that's what I think! Yasuomi Umetsu gets it

This might be my wildest observation yet, but playing Death Stranding 2 and Ghost of Yotei in the same year kind of exemplifies how socialist, or even communist, the Death Stranding series is as a whole. It's actually its gameplay, because at the opposite of that is Ghost of Yotei.

Ghost in the Shell 2nd Gig's political setting involves a female Japanese prime minister who is a reactionary conservative, whose position stands on anti-immigration due to an influx caused by war across the world. I may have been too stupid when I watched this when I was younger

No Love has no male main characters. Doylist explanation is because I animate a lot of men in my day jobs so I take my personal projects as a chance to animate women. Watsonian explanation is that a lot of the male career criminals in the setting got drafted to war

Yuri is beautiful, but what's arguably even more beautiful is to read or watch something that doesn't seem like it'd have it, but it suddenly has it. That's cinema. Motoko having girlfriends in Standalone Complex or Valmet being gay in Jormungand elicited many reactions from my girlfriend hahahaha

Got dolled up yesterday, did some shopping with my partner and while I was checking out, I got tapped on my shoulder by a lady who I thought was the staff. I thought I did something wrong, but she very nervously said "um, you are very pretty" and it was so unexpected we both laughed-

Extraction shooters are compelling not really because of the risk of losing everything, but because of the context of the PvP encounters. Engaging in combat in them is a very, very active and conscious a player has to make

Playing Cartagra after the KnS trilogy is rough... you can really tell this is InnoGrey's first title. It's funny because it often feels like character assassination at times- but it becomes a revival as their writing improves by a huge margin in the later games.
