I don't think anyone else would have come up with the idea of having an elf touching the Sea of Stars creating ripples that spread out over the whole map, to communicate the idea that it's both a starfield with spaceships, and a sea with sailing ships "depending." It's brilliant.

Okay, I think Sugar is officially a good show in my book. The characters in it are really complicated in believable ways. Really human. LOL It actually reminds me of a lot of a Michael Mann movie. Right down to how good the villain is.

There's a kind of RPG product I look at and think "that's cool, I wish MCDM could make a book like that." But we can't because we are an expensive company and that product would never pay for itself. And then I wonder...do those products only exist because everyone working on them has a day job?
